Angela Swan was born in the north-east of England, and is currently based in County Durham after graduating from Lancashire University in 2005. She has worked for a wide range of UK and American publishers, including Penguin, Oxford University Press, Usborne, Brown Publishing, Scholastic and Harrods. A range of merchandise created by Angela can still be seen in Harrods three years after it was commissioned.
Angela spends a lot of time doodling, and loves to create new characters that she can play around with. Bears are her favourite! She feels lucky to have a job that enables her to spend all of her time doing something that she loves. Many a day is spent sitting by a window, drawing whilst overlooking the garden, drinking tea and watching her many bunnies running around. |
