Camels in Australia, Where does Thursday go? and Pilawuk –When I was Young have all won the prestigious CBCA award. Janeen has also recently been awarded a May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust Creative Time Fellowship. Writing is Janeen’s love and full-time work, but to keep the balance, her other loves include reading, creating mosaics from recycled materials, gardening, nature, films, theatre, and time spent with her family and friends.
