Irish-born Philip Blythe settled in Queensland in 1998 after travelling the state as the staff artist on British-based Operation Raleigh’s Queensland Quest expedition. His 2001 book Pole to Pole (by Pamela Freeman) was shortlisted for the Children’s Book Council of Australia’s Book of the Year award. |
