UK author/illustrator Anna Nilsen was educated in Switzerland and England before moving to Edinburgh to study at the Edinburgh School of Art. Anna taught art in several schools and colleges before becoming the Head of Graphic Arts and Illustration of Anglia Polytechnic University. She became a full-time illustrator in 1995.
An inventive creator of interactive children’s books, from board books to challenging and complex books of games, puzzles, mazes and quizzes. Her recent titles include Famous Journeys, Pirates, The Great Race Maze, The Amazeing Journey of Marco Polo, The Amazeing Journey of Charles Darwin and Robotics.
Anna lives in Cambridge with her boisterous red setter, Tara. |
